389 Monobloc Needle and Clip -Triumph T120 TR6 1964-1967, BSA A65 1962-1967

Brand new Amal 5 slot needle with a clip. This is a true Amal needle. Please do not buy one if it is not authentic Amal-the tolerances are very important and very strict. They are also very hard to copy. The five slots are position slots. If you know its time to take your carb apart and rebuild it you should replace your needle jet. If your bike is running very rich this is probably the reason. Your concentric carb runs primarily off of the needle jet and is subject to wear from the pulsing of the intake. We recommend factory settings of all carbs for street conditions. While you have the carb apart you may want to use a gasket kit or a rebuild kit depending on the conditions of your carb. You will also want to check the play in your carb slide. A worn carb slide will cause erratic idle and the bike to shut down while idling. We offer free technical advice anytime, just please ask.
