One brand new Amal stay up float. The float works for concentric 600, 900 and Mark IIAmalcarbs If you know its time to take that carb apart and rebuild it, you may want to replace this while its open. What is good about these is, that the old plastic floats swell from the alcohol and then they do not work properly andthen there is spillage A lot of times people mistake for the needle or a dirty seat.When you are rebuilding your carburetor We recommend also replacing your needle jet if you have never done that. They do tend to wear out and are subject to running much more rich. Also the enricher plunger is a major source of problems. You will also want to check the play in your carb slide. A worn carb slide will cause erratic idle and the bike to shut off at idlewhile sitting at a stop light.
